Anyone can learn how to meditate; you just have to find the technique that works for you. You may have tried mindfulness meditation and struggled to still your mind, perhaps because you were given insufficient or unhelpful instruction, or perhaps you simply need to try other techniques first to strengthen your mental discipline.
You do not have to sit cross-legged on the floor (chairs are fine), you do not have to hold your hands a certain way, and you do not have to wear yoga clothes or be a Buddhist.
